Here is a little more about me.
I’m a director by trade but would call myself a creator, filmmaker, globetrotter, sports addict, or just a curious person, loving all things branding and world-building related - who’s also taking pictures like a tourist.
Some of you may remember me as ‚The vacuum guy’ who directed a commercial for Dirt Devil which caused somewhat of a stir on the internet, was shown at the TED Global conference, and also ended up in the permanent collection of the Museum of Modern Art in NYC.
Since then I have been lucky enough to work on amazing projects, collaborate with lovely clients and meet outstanding personalities around the world. Here's some press and even more.
In the last couple of years, I created an independent magazine, which became the foundation to co-founding and building AKKURAT Studios, a creative label, primarily acting as a production company that manages talent from all around the world.
This website works as a personal archive of mine, rather than only a classic portfolio. Here are some lists to browse through, e.g. culinary highlights in thrilling cities, like Los Angeles, Tokyo, CDMX, and Stockholm, quotes, a watched list, some books I enjoyed reading, trending links, an eBook, feat. the city of LA, acting as a guide for crossing the big pond, and probably some other stuff soon.
I try to live by the Japanese saying “ichigo ichie”, which roughly means: Treasure every moment, for it will never recur. Speaking of which: I am happy to catch up with you in person, or just say hello.
