Here is a little more about me.
First of all: I enjoy working with great people. Which is one of the reasons I co-founded AKKURAT Studios, a creative label, café, and event space - primarily acting as a production company that manages talent from all around the world.
Some of you may remember me as ‚The vacuum guy’ who directed a commercial for Dirt Devil which caused somewhat of a stir on the internet, was shown at the TED Global conference, and also ended up in the permanent collection of the Museum of Modern Art in NYC. Since then I have been lucky enough to work on amazing projects, collaborate with lovely clients and meet outstanding personalities around the world. Here's even more.
This website acts as a personal archive of mine, rather than only a classic portfolio. Here are some lists to browse through, e.g. culinary highlights in thrilling cities, like Los Angeles, Tokyo, and Stockholm, quotes, a watched list, some books I enjoyed reading, and probably some other stuff soon.
If you’d like to keep up with even more information, e.g. my favorite articles, odd obsessions, and interesting stuff I’d like to share, you can subscribe to a weekly newsletter I’m curating.
I try to live by the Japanese saying “ichigo ichie”, which roughly means: Treasure every moment, for it will never recur. Speaking of which: I am happy to catch up with you in person, or just say hello.
